TIna Gabby, MD

Born in San Francisco and raised in the SF Bay Area, I graduated from University of California, Davis and from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Class of 1985.  After completion of my internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, during which I was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Honor Society, I held a 3 year fellowship there in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. I also received a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of California, Berkeley.

I joined the full time faculty of UCSF in 1991 with a dual appointment in the Division of General Pediatrics and the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. I cared for children in a primary-care pediatric practice, taught residents and medical students and served as the Director of the Early Childhood Clinic, a multi-disciplinary clinical and teaching program, where children aged 0 to 6 with a variety of complex behavioral and developmental problems were evaluated. I transitioned to full-time private practice in Corte Madera in 2000 and remain active on the Clinical Faculty at UCSF.

After having raised 2 children, I enjoy living in Marin with my husband and big dog, Toby. Free time is spent hiking, swimming, biking, exploring museums and the outdoors, arts and crafting and dreaming about travel!
